Introducing Panpsychist Paul!

Like I stated in the previous posts about temperament, no one can solely exhibit a single temperament, there must be a fusion of at least one other temperament.

Panpsychist Paul had a blend of all four temperament (Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholy, Phlegmatic)  but he possessed a predominant temperament which made him Outstanding.

Meet Choleric Paul;
He was the peoples' man. Notice their eyes fixed on him?

It will interest you to know that Saul's (now Paul) conversion and change of name was altered but his temperament wasn't tampered with. The new Paul disciplined himself greatly and worked on the weaknesses that accompanied his temperament status. And as evidenced, he emerged a Victor.

As a Choleric;
* Paul was a Life Coach.
{Acts 20:19-21} "I didn't skimp or trim in any way. Every truth and encouragement that could have made a difference to you, you got. I taught you in the public and I taught you in your homes, urging Jews and Greeks alike to a radical life-change before God and equally trust in our Master Jesus."

* Paul was a Sacrificial Leader
{Acts 20:33-34} "I've never, as you know so well, had any taste for wealth or fashion. With these bare hands, I took care of my own basic needs and those who worked for me. In everything I've done, I have demonstrated to you how necessary it is to work on behalf of the weak and not exploit them."

* Paul was Fearless
His undaunted fearlessness can be traced to His Master's (God) assurance.
{Acts 18: 9-10} "One night, the Master spoke to Paul in a dream: 'Keep it up, and don't let anyone intimidate or silence you. No matter what happens, I'm with you and no one is going to be able to hurt you."
This explains why he (Paul) headed for Jerusalem amidst Agabus' warning of a vision of him being held captive in Jerusalem and tied in hands and in feet which he openly dramatized. Agabus was a Prophet from Judea who journeyed all the way to Caesarea to notify Paul about his vision which came to past. {Peep Acts 21:10}. *Paul was such a radical for Jesus mehn, jealous much*

*Paul had respect for Higher Authorities
During a stampede, the mob grabbed two of Paul's associates. Paul tried to avenge the cause but was stopped by the disciples even though he still tried to object. But when the prominent religious leaders in the city concurred by instructing him, saying, "By no means go near the mob!" He obliged.{Acts 19:31}

*Paul was a ''Peoples' Man''
Even though he was hated by his adversaries, they craved to hear him speak.
{Acts 22:2} "When they heard him speaking Hebrew, they grew even quieter. No one wanted to miss a word of this."

*Paul was a Linguist
He conversed in Hebrew. {Acts 21:40}
He longed to visit Rome. To that effect, he sent a letter across {See Romans 1:8-18 to view the content of his letter}. At the time when he longed to visit Rome, there was no Jew living in Rome. Could he also speak Latin?
He not only spoke the Greek language, he had a better understanding of the language. Reason why the New Testament was written in Greek, all thanks to Panpsychist Paul!

*Paul Listened and Identified with the Norms
His life was in great danger. He listened and identified with the norms of the Jews to reduce the risk of being apprehended by the "paralytic analysts" at the time.
{Acts 21:26} "So Paul did it- took the men, joined them in their vows, and paid their way."

*Paul had Zero Tolerance to bullies. He possessed great Improvisational Skills.
He knew his right as a Citizen even when they tried to humiliate him before the High Council. The Chief Priest Ananias ordered his aides to slap Paul in the face but Paul shot back. {Peep Acts 23:1-10 for the detailed account}

In summary, Paul was PASSIONATE towards his vocational call, he indulged DISCIPLINE to help him run the cumbersome race, He successfully FINISHED the race!

#Today's post was painstakingly crafted for you, trust you were enlightened!

Dear Choleric, Panpsychist Paul is one mentor to look up to while thriving to become better versions of yourself.

Have an Amazing day!

-Temperament can be defined as a human or animal's nature especially as it permanently affects their behaviour.

-Personality is the combination of characteristics or qualities that form an individual's distinctive character.

-Character is the mental or moral qualities distinctive to an individual.

*But for the purpose this post, I'll dwell solely on temperament.

Note that every individual compose of a merge of two or more temperament.

Dream Map

A dream is a series of thoughts, images and sensations occurring in a person's mind  during sleep.

A map is a diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea showing physical features, cities, roads, etc.

Therefore, A Dream Map is a diagrammatic representation of an area of land or sea in a series of thoughts, images and sensations which occurs in a person's mind during sleep. A dream map is the clearest form of revelation from God. It comes handy to his faithful whom He assigns on a mission.

St. Paul is today's Special Character. He was given a dream map on a platter. Read on...

Paul visited the city of  Derbe, afterwards moved on to Lystra where he found Timothy. He moved on to Phrygia and then on through the region of Galatia. They had their plan of returning to the west, but the Holy Spirit blocked that route. They tried to go north, and the Holy Spirit repeated its antics (of blocking).

That night, Paul had a dream. The dream was an extra-ordinary kind of dream because a dream map was revealed to him. The map been revealed to him was to direct him and his entourage to God's designated country (Macedonia) where they were to continue their Missionary work.

{Acts 16:9-10}
"That night Paul had a dream: A Macedonian stood on the far shore and called across the sea, "Come over to Macedonia and help us! The dream gave Paul his map."

You're yet to obtain a dream map from God about your earthly mission? Wait on Him.

You've rightly received a dream map from the Maker but unable to use the map to your designated destination? You'll be needing an assistance from the Holy Spirit (which may come in the form of a spiritual director, a friend, or a divine helper) to show you how to effectively use your map without compromise.

Or... maybe you're not paying attention to the map He has released to you.

God is in the habit of revealing Himself and His plans through Humans whom He created in his image and likeness. Avail yourself today by walking in righteousness.

Have a Great day!

Dream Interpreter Urgently Needed!

I must begin by saying that I'm not a Joseph nor a Josephine. I fall in the category of people who don't remember their dreams and desperately pray to God for a one. But when I dream and able to remember it, it always has a significance.

Few weeks before I lost my mum, I had a dream, in that dream, I saw an old man lifting a body that seemed like my mums'. The old man exchanged her name with another name. The dream was a complicated one. I woke up thinking about it all day and there was no credible interpreter to confide in. I automatically interpreted by myself (based on the level of my understanding) and claimed my Mum life was exchanged with another, therefore, she wasn't going to die like the doctor had ascertained. Well, after her demise, the interpretation became clearer to me as I continually pondered. I figured out that "that man" was lifting her to eternal glory and changing her earthly name to a heavenly name.

Two days back,  August 24, 2016. I woke up at about 6 am with a dream. In that dream, I realized an unseen face tried to steal my phone but ran out of luck when my phone stuck by the fringe of the door. As a matter of fact, I woke up in that dream and reached out for my phone and realized it was stuck by the right side of the door (in reality there is no opening by the right side of my door) when the robbers' plot failed. Surprisingly, I was unaware of what had transpired the entire time. All I could say in that dream was thank you Jesus, I prayed; praising him never seized from my lips.

Then I woke up...

I felt at peace with my soul, my confidence level in God skyrocketed, insecurity was far beyond my thought (wasn't even there), I continued worshiping Him thereafter.

Over time, I grew to realize that dreams are proofs that there is life after death and that every dream has its significance and should not be ignored.

God revealed his words through dreams to the kings, prophets and the people whom He chose to accomplish a mission. e.g Solomon, Elisha, Joseph etc

{Genesis 40:12}"Then Joseph said to him, "This is the interpretation of it: the three branches are three days;"
{Daniel 1:17}"As for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and intelligence in every branch of literature and wisdom; Daniel even understood all kinds of visions and dreams."
Any gifted person in the house whose area of specialty lies on dream interpretation like Jospeh and Daniel? Kindly help Ellahillz get her groove back by interpreting her dream. Thanks in anticipation. *winks

When Did You Become A Christian?

Make that decision today...

The word Christian took its roots from the Greek word 'Christianos' which means ''followers of Christ.'' Christ (Christos in Greek), means "Anointed one."

The English dictionary described a Christian as one who who relates to or professes Christianity or its teaching.

Well, professing Christianity or its teaching isn't enough. You must learn to be a loyal follower by adhering to the instructions given and learning its principles. To become a Christian, you must first be a follower of Christ.

A follower is a one who moves behind or travels behind someone or something.

You've ever thought you became a Christian the moment you were born or because of the family you were raised in? You lied. The family, the church and other agents of acquiring knowledge about Christianity are just there to set perspectives. Becoming a bonafide Christian entails that one must maintain a personal relationship with God, unravel the hidden treasures of Christianity through the gift of the Holy Spirit, and in turn, affect those around you by the quality of life you live.

Unfortunately, most Church goers are not Christians. Christians are followers of Christ who have carefully studied His (Jesus') teaching, temperament, commands e.t.c and subscribed entirely to them.

The term Born again may seem overrated but it cuts across it being overrated. Being Born again is way deeper than you could ever imagine. Being born again transcends from the "water baptism" to the "Holy Spirit baptism." The latter means being born of the Holy Spirit and allowing the Holy Spirit overshadow you.

First, you must follow the teachings of Christ. Second, you must be born in the Holy Spirit and receive its gifts. The two must come in contact to birth the reality of becoming a Christian. Until then, I'm sorry to disappoint you, you are only a Church goer not a Christian.

To the fallen Christians (those who backslided) due to seen and unforeseen circumstances, you can renew your faith and be reinstated into the family of Christians.

{Acts 11:26 "It was in Antioch that the disciples were first called Christians."}

After several tests encountered by the disciples to ascertain their "followership status" they were first called Christains in Antioch.

Think again. Ever being a Christian? Why did you become a Christian? When did you become a Christian?

Have a Productive day guys!

Thoroughly Good

You are nowhere near good until you are being described as "thoroughly good."

Cornelius of Caesarea is one man to look up to. He was a man of good principle. He was virtuous. He brisked with invigorating personality. He was wealthy man (riches didn't distract him) who had servants and devout soldiers at his beck and call. Above all, He was brought to God's altar by his deeds.

The man named Cornelius was different from the other Jews.

Interestingly, God put Peter in his life to guide him in the path of righteousness, tutor him on more Biblical insights and in turn be a blessing and a helper to Peter's ministry.

Acts 10:1-3 "There was a man named Cornelius who lived in Caesarea, captain of the Italian Guard stationed there. He was a thoroughly good man. He had led everyone in his house to live worshipfully before God, was always helping people in need, and had the habit of prayer. One day about three o'clock in the afternoon he had a vision. An angel of God, as real as his next-door neighbour, came in and said, "Cornelius."

How good are you? Are you a complete package just like Cornelius? Here we go! We have a role model who had it all.

God is searching painstakingly for thoroughly good people to reveal his word to. It may be you He's been bending over backward to reach out to.

Think about it. Are you thoroughly good?

Have a Good day.

What Length Can You Go For A "Friend" ?

"A Friend" is an individual who can be tolerated. These set of people fill in the gap while in the search the real deal. {Mathew 7:7 "Seek and you shall find.}

On the other hand, A FRIEND is that individual who loves more than a biological brother, they are there in times of adversaries and in times of joyful moments. These set of people will never talk ill at your back, they'll defend you to the last. (They are very hard to come by).

*I'm sure most of you can relate with the above meanings of  "A Friend" and "A FRIEND" respectively.

Well, whether they are being tagged A Friend or A FRIEND, they remain relevant in our lives and constitute a portion of our livelihood.

The Big Question.... To What Length Can You Go For A Friend?

Here is a "not so comprehensive" list of the length I can go for A Friend or A FRIEND;

Personally, I've not being lucky walking down the lane of genuine and lasting friendship. But when the word "friend" is involved, be rest assured that I'll have your back.

I can't imagine me sacrificing myself life for my sake, but I've sacrificed my life for a friend in the past (on two occasions). "This sacrificial attitude" transpires by reflex to ensure that my friend is doing just fine.

I can endure so much pain just to ensure that a friend smiles (most of the time, it goes unnoticed).

I can spend sleepless night(s)  fighting to get a friend out of trouble

I'll never talk ill about a friend (unless I'm badly hurt). Even at that, only one secretive person will hear it. This is to enable me ease off.

I can put my resources in the line for a friend (I have a big heart).

I can give a 100% support to a friend in order to maximize full potentials and in turn be inspired.

I can do tons of "osho free" stuffs for a friend *I'm only a sanguine, what do you expect?

I can have "too much confidence in a friend ehn." *The result always backfires (Maybe cos I'm always involved with A Friend, not A FRIEND).

I can can give a friend multiple "benefit of doubt" because I was taught never to write people off too easily (I'll let go of such friend immediately I realize they are frenemies).

I can share confidential stuffs with a friend (These days, I seal my mouth most of the time).

I always express unconditional love to a friend (I have short memory to wrongs done).

As a friend, your secrets are safe with me.

...And once in a blue moon, I could make petty mistakes and annoy that friend. Reason is; I keep it real and only a Human Being, never being a perfectionist. *The last time I checked, only God was perfect.

Some people have Friend(s), some are lucky with finding A FRIEND(S), others are lucky with finding a Soulmate. Whatever your case may be, be grateful for the one you have and never give up in the pursuit of all round happiness.

*My heart goes out to those with no FRIEND or SOULMATE. May loneliness never become your daily meal, Amen.

{John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for a friend."}

To What Length Can You Go For A Friend?

Hated By The World?

               Amidst the hate, stand firm!

You've ever sacrificed so much for a particular sect and it backfires with wads of different agonizing backlash? You've ever cared and loved unconditionally, yet it went unnoticed and was accompanied with torture? You've ever been betrayed by those you relied on the most? You've ever been made the topic of a ridiculed discussion with the aim of ripping and denting your image? You've ever tried to correct a wrong and they hate you even more for trying to effect a change? Relax, you are not alone! Jesus passed through the entire phases of hate (conscious and subconscious).

Anchor Scripture: John 15:18
"If you find that the godless world is hating you, remember it got its start hating me. If you lived on the world's terms, the world would love you as one of its own. But since I've picked you to live on God's term and no longer on the world's terms, the world is going to hate you."

Back in the days, I was the "IMSU Rihanna" of my time, you'll always get  hold of me wearing crazy/unique hairstyles to match my icons', rocking the latest bum-shorts, blending my church girl status with the things of the world that didn't really matter (I taught that was the ideal way to live), being entirely cordial with the cult guys and the other guys, etc. (I was more of  tom boy). Fastword to my Service year, I matured in the act. I was even nicknamed "Ella4TheBoiz'' you'll always find me at happening parties, hangouts, clubs and other unnecessary outings (I thought that was the ideal way to enjoy my service year and explore my youth like the Bible teaches). *Silly me. The only saving grace was that I was well raised by an uptight mum! I wasn't loose, I was a bookworm who still aimed at my focus and I had the fear of God. If not, ''I for spoil throway." Lol

Then, something happened. The Holy Spirit arrested me and my life changed forever. I still look at the brand new me a times and say aloud, "Somy is this really you?" Trust me, a whole lot changed!

The transformation came with a lot of complicating issues. I lost 99% of my "friends". The supposed "new friends" wouldn't even last long because, I'll end up not dancing to their tune. In all sincerity, it was entirely difficult adjusting to the fact that I didn't have people at my beck and call, coming from a large sized family didn't even help matters. I suffered marathon mood swings most times, other times, I became homesick. This lingered on till I eventually stabilized.

Thing is, nobody ever made it to the top with too many friends. More so, growth is silent. I'm glad that I'm growing! By growing you get to maximize your full potentials and affect the lives around you.

Respond to God's call whenever He knocks at the gate of your heart. It may seem too difficult for a period of time but over time, His glory will shine so bright over your life and place you on every entitlement you rightfully deserve which is his own way of saying, "Well done Child!"

Today, "ignore dem haters jor, they gat norn on u," focus on you, work rigorously hard and be rest assured of a crown acknowledging the reign of your own dynasty.

Have a Hate-free day! *No one achieved great things through hate.

Who Wrote The Book Of John?

On the 15th day of every month, something special happens to me. Its either a miracle happens, a new revelation unravels, or something really exciting springs up.

At exactly 8:30 pm, August 15th 2016, something divinely beautiful transpired. I had prayed for my "sign" earlier in the day and still anticipated graciously.

                                          How It got Started

I had just finished studying the 14th Chapter of the book of John and was almost concluding that John was a defensive writer who didn't hint about how he doubted Jesus being the Messiah while in prison.

Few minutes later, I had a nudge to kindly sit and meditate on the book of John. Loe and Behold! the Holy Spirit revealed to me that there were actually two different Johns: John the baptist and John the apostle. *All my life, I grew up thinking there was only one John!

After trying to put one and two together based on the similar account of  the synoptic gospel writers; Mathew, Mark and Luke, I confirmed the assertion.

Immediately, I delved into google to prove my assertion, loe and behold! James F. McGrath (New testament language and literature Professor at Butler University in Indiana polis) showed me greater and mightier things through his piece which swept me off my feet. He affirmed that it took wisdom to discern between John the Baptist and John the Apostle. *I'm wise right. winks. He went on to unveil the third John! Who knew there was a third John? I will still investigate this "third John" in due cause. He named them as follows: John the elder (Apostle of Jesus), John the seer (Author of the book of Revelation) and John the baptist (The fore-runner).

He further explained that originally, the gospel and other letters of the Bible did not name their authors and that the titles were only affixed in the Modern Bible.

Some claim Lazarus may have authored the book of John since he was close to Jesus and His disciples, and ultimately, was loved dearly by Jesus.

More so, the book of John was a written using the report writing technique. *Feel free to check it out once more.

Peep John 13:23 "One of the disciples, the one Jesus loved dearly, was reclining against him, his head on his shoulder." (Clue)

The rundown of the book of John goes on and on without acknowledging John as the writer. Or did John put up a deja vu stunt by taking the position of a ghost writer?

Pheeew! Back to my initial question: Who wrote the book of John?

*Constructive criticism and credible assertions are welcomed.

Have a Fab day!

LOVE (Part II)

If He loves you, You'll know!

It's okay to love Him, but when He loves you, "fogerrit!" You are on a whole different level of iMax.

How well does He love you? Can He go the extra-mile of weeping on your behalf or "snitching" (confiding) in you? Take a deep breath and examine if He truly loves you in a different kind of way.

*Peep John Chapter 11 for the rundown of how Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead and what transpired before and after the event.

Interestingly, John 11:35 categorically states that Jesus wept over the death of Lazarus. Reason was; He loved Lazarus too much!

Below are some proofs to back up the above statement of how Jesus loved Lazarus.

-John 11:3 "So his sisters sent word to Jesus, Master, the one you love so very much is sick."

-John 11:5 "Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus

Moving on to the special case of John the Apostle a.k.a "John the beloved" who bragged about the fact that Jesus loved him dearly far more than the other disciples and was entirely right about it, we'll understand that when Jesus loves one the way He loved John, He'll "snitch" (reveal solely to you) confidential information.

-John 13:23 "One of the disciples, the one Jesus loved dearly, was reclining against Him, his head on His shoulder." (Lool, John robbed it on the face of others that he was Jesus' favourite and pet). Well, he(John) did all of the P.D.A(public display of affection) to obtain a "hot topic gist" from Jesus and it worked for him. *Figure out which technique works better for you while trying to obtain a confidential detail from the one who loves you unconditionally.

-John 13:25 "So being the closest, he said, Master who? (This was in respect to the statement made by Jesus on how one of them feasting on the table with Him will betray Him).

-John 13:26 In confidence, Jesus gave him (John) an epic clue, "The one to whom I give this crust of bread after I've dipped it." (Wow! Too much love). Notice how Jesus was smart enough not to engage in any name calling? Be diplomatic like Jesus!

John unlike Peter bragged about the fact that Jesus loved him dearly, while Peter who was too concerned about displaying His love for God and acting accordingly ended up denying Him.

Today, love God in the best way ever without being overly dramatic about it or trying to prove the stance to others. This way, God's love for you will be glaring to all and filled with many revelations.

How intense does He love you? Can He weep on your behalf or can He "snitch" confidential revelations to you? *Food for thought right?

LOVE

True, there is a thin line between love and hate. Oh well! That thin line is called Knowledge. Hatred emerges from knowledge, Love emerges or is continually sustained by knowledge.

How well do you know that spouse, relative or bosom friend? Some people hate for no just cause, others love with no concrete reason attached. Which category do you fall under? You may have to engage in marathon brainstorming or meditation if need be to get it right this last time.

Interestingly, bigotry is related to ignorance. *That's a topic for another day.

In truth, knowledge takes a lot of time to acquire, reason why the level of divorce, failed relationships and its like are on the upsurge. On the other hand, conflict resolution between divorcees, family and friends are obtainable through knowledge.

The knowledge of a spouse is impossible to know during honeymoon weeks or weekend getaways.

Also, Some people hate God as a result of poor knowledge or ignorance, others claim to love Him because they feel obliged to loving Him (they were born into a tradition or religion where they needed to "just" love God), while those who have seasoned knowledge about Him express their love for Him in the most terrific away ever which is evidenced to all!

For those who genuinely love God, they are greased with "fresh-oiled" inspiration on how to love Him better and be creative about it.

Love is based on the following tripod: Goodness, Knowledge and Similarity.

-What goodness attracted you to love? *These goodness may be misleading often a times. Love shouldn't be based solely on goodness but hey! It must be good.

-Do you have concrete knowledge to soar higher in the journey of love? This aspect should be taken seriously. You need to painstakingly study whoever you are involved with without bias.

-Do you have similarities? Are you compatible with that "love of your life?"

Until you've critically analysed the above tripods and obtained lasting results, you do not have an idea of what love is all about.

Anchor Scripture: 1 John 4:19
"We love because He first loved us."

Have a LOVEly day guys!

You Are Only A Steward

Hello guys!

Trust your Fabulous Saturday rest is going on amazingly good as supposed. *winks

Just to remind you (us) that no matter our bourgeoisie or proletariat status, we are only stewards and would be asked for a detailed account of how well we used our talents and the resources around us to do exploits.

Make a difference, dare to be different and act differently, because at the end, it's about how well we lived and the good we impacted.

Have a Thrilling Weekend.

Jesus Recommended Suicide?

Yes, He did. But to a particular group of people though.

These category of people are called "agent of darkness." They go about tempting people and luring them into sin.

Well, "Bros J" has a message to those who are guilty of such acts: 'Wear a millstone necklace and take a swim in the deep blue sea.' He wants those involved to die by drowning: Drowning in an epic way.

Dear Tempters and Temptresses a.k.a babes' le hot and bobos' le cold a.k.a dressers to kill, stay off inciting the innocent into sin with your demonic antics. It's okay to be fashionable but don't go the extra mile of "dressing to kill" anybody. You'll get burnt in the process.

Refrain from such distasteful attitude because the supposed "light" consequence is a death penalty. The just judge, Jesus, clearly outlined the sentence. *No one knows what the actual sentence which is supposedly worse than suicide would look like.

Anchor Scripture: Luke 17:1-2
"Hard trials and temptations are bound to come, but too bad for whoever brings them on! Better to wear a milestone necklace and a take a swim in the deep sea than give even one of these dear little one a hard time!"

He is aware that burdensome temptations are bound to occur, but hey! don't be the architect of the plot, that's all He's warning against.

Have a "Temptation-free" day guys!

Why Are You Living?

Until you discover your life's purpose, living is only a waste of time and oxygen.

In the year 2013, I was yet to discover myself and my life's assignment. Oh yes! I was an ambitious young lady whose only goal in life was to make money and just life to its fullest (that happily ever after kind of living with Fancy cloths, Good shoes, Legendary automobile (owning a private jet wasn't a bad idea too), "Porsche" hair extensions, Skin pamper, World tour with price charming by the right hand side). *Lol, I'm a heavy dreamer, don't hate. hahaha... I could take up any decent job, as long as it brought in money and more money, even though the jobs I was getting at the time was an oxymoron. *I love my country Nigeria. hahaha.

*But hey, baby girl detested sitting idle at home and picked up those jobs while hoping for the best to come. *(I craved to be an On Air Personality and become a Brand Ambassador so badly sha. lool. Dunno why I loved it entirely flashy back then. Thank God I grew up!).

Fast-forward to 2016, see what the Lord has done! In the year 2015, my only goal was becoming a successful secular blogger, unknown to me was a real life's assignment which God was patiently waiting for me to mature before He unravels.

Today August 11th 2016, I make bold to say that I have my life's assignment all tabled out and unashamed to announce to the world that I Am Still A Work In Progress in pursuit to attaining my goals. Every moment of my life, I thank God for the many revelation because there is always more.

Play your own role of working rigorously hard, reach the desired target and allow God do His thing. *Note to self too.

Are you still clueless about your life's assignment? It's about that time to let go of you, subscribe to a sacrificial life, immense your mind in critical thinking and allow the Holy Spirit teach you, guide you and dictate for you.

Anchor scripture: Habakkuk 2:3
"For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end. It will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

In the words of Socrates, "an unexamined life is not worth living."

Partner with Jesus. Wait on Him if need be in order to figure out your life's purpose. It's never too late or too early to dream a new dream and have a new life worthy of rendering an explicit account of how well it was spent on the day of reckoning.

P.S: Living one's life assignment and living the fairy tale life all in one is entirely POSSIBLE.

Have a "Soberly Impressive" day guys!

You Can Take It With You

Do know wealth acquired on earth can be taken up into Heaven? How is this possible? Find out as you read on. *winks

For this service to be activated, a conversion must be occur. This conversion is called exchange.

On a trip to a foreign country, a conversion of currency at hand must occur, else, it cannot be used as a medium of exchange in the supposed new country. For instance, one travelling to Nigeria from the United Kingdom must first convert Pounds Sterling to Naira before it can be used in Nigeria.

Same process is applicable in the realm beyond. Physical wealth can be exchanged with spiritual wealth. This is possible when you give to God's people (creation) on earth. By so doing, souls helped on earth serve as intercessors on your behalf in Heaven.

Anchor Scripture: Luke 16: 9
"I tell you, use worldly wealth to make friends for yourself, so that when it is gone, they will welcome you into eternal dwellings."

Using worldly wealth to attract people to one's self can be taken out of context especially in present time when leeches are the order of the day. Scripture rightly says, "make friends for yourself," not "draw people to yourself."

Scriptural Definition of A Friend
"A friend loves all the time, and a brother is born for adversity." (Proverbs 17:7). A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." (Proverbs 18:24).

A friend is one who loves unconditionally, sticks closer than a brother and have one's back in good and in trying times. Until one matches the above criteria, he is no friend!

Today, build up your empire because it's a lifelong process of exchange.

Have a Fab day!

That Helper May Be Your Helper

(Definition one) of a helper: A subordinate e.g A house keeper, An employee, A messenger.

(Definition two) of a helper: A temporal aid or assistant. This category of "helper" may not be subordinates. They only play a role by acting as destiny helpers or support system to accomplish a task.

Now, merging the two definitions of who helpers are to connect with the title of today's post, "that subordinate helper may be your destiny helper.

Anchor Scripture: 2 kings 5:2-4
"It so happened that Aram, on one of it's raiding expedition against Israel, captured a young girl who became a maid to Naaman's wife. One day she said to her mistress, Oh! if only my master could meet the prophet of Samaria, he would be healed of his skin disease."

vs 14 "So he did it. He went and immersed himself in the Jordan seven times, following the orders of the Holy Man. His skin was healed; it was like the skin of a little baby. He was as good as new."

The slave girl in today's scriptural passage was the link or connect that led to Naaman healing.

Interestingly, the undaunted faith she had in the Holy Man, Elisha, was one of its kind, the unwavering faith she possessed was the first help she rendered which kick-started the healing process of Naaman before his physical contact with Elisha.

For the records, Naaman was general of the army under the King of Aram. He was subject (a helper) to his master amidst his rise in status and fame. Scripture explains to us that "he was important to his master.'' No wonder his master didn't question the directives from the slave girl.

Naaman was loyal to his master and his master reciprocated by loving him unconditionally and thrived to see Naaman cured from his affliction at any cost.

Imagine if the slave girl was maltreated by her mistress, she would have held her peace and wouldn't have linked her boss to a life changing transformation experienced by her husband Naaman.

In essence, treat that helper(subordinate) nicely. Treat that security man or woma good, accord him or her the respect he deserves. Treat that housekeeper good, shower him or her with love void of preferential treatment. Treat that junior employee (Intern) good, correct him or her with love whenever they fault due to lack of inexperience. Display an unusual kind of affection to that vagrant and help them rise from their pitiable condition in your own capability.

In the words of Aristotle, "By goodness and love, by mutual compassion and helpfulness, men become gods to one another."

No matter the status of your neighbour; whether, rich, poor or middle class, they are gods emanated from the Most High God and can help you in times of trouble.

Today and onward, treat that "helper" (definition one) or helper (definition two) real good cos you never know what tomorrow has in store. #ThatHelperMayBeYourHelper

Have an amazing day!

And She Was Overshadowed By The HolySpirit

It will interest you to know that Mary wasn't the only woman overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. She was exceptional because she was the Mother of the Messiah.

Women allover the world who are involved with childbearing are been "overshadowed by the Holy Spirit" and share in Mary's grace.

How is this so? Just like God, women are involved in divinity which makes them "creators." A woman must first be overshadowed by the Holy Spirit in order to birth a new life into the world.

Luke 1:42b "Blessed is the fruit of thy womb." More so, the blessing of the womb extends to other creatures(Female animals). Motherhood equals divinity.

Notwithstanding, the men have a role in the creation story because only through a man's (male) help, a new life is being formed.

Ever wondered why some mothers lose their lives in the process during childbirth? "Physical birth or Creation" isn't an easy path to tread, never was (after the fall of Adam and Eve), and never will be.

The only assurance for Mothers is evidenced in Exodus 1:19
"The Midwives said to Pharaoh, because the Hebrew Women are not as the Egyptian Women; for they are vigorous and give birth before the midwife can get to them. So God was good to the midwives, and the people multiplied, and became very mighty."

God in his own wisdom has made all women vigorous for the task ahead.

Dear Expectant Mother, You are overshadowed with the Holy Spirit and Blessed is the fruit of your womb!

Have a rewarding week dear Fam!

The DIFFERENCE Between Pride and Bragging In The Lord

Did you catch that? John Flavel gets it!

Pride means inordinate self esteem; an unreasonable conceit of one's own superiority in talents, beauty, wealth, rank etc., which manifests itself in lofty airs, distance, reserve and often contempt in the others.

To brag means to boast; to talk with excessive pride about what one has, can do, or has done. But hey! bragging In The Lord, is a different ball game entirely.

Bragging In The Lord entails acknowledging Him for the revelation, inspiration or goodies He has genuinely rested upon us. It is an indirect (exhilarating) way of returning back the praise(s) to Him and saying Thank You!

Findings: There is a strong relationship between pride and bragging.

But Bragging In The Lord exclude itself from the above hypothesis.

Don't be in a hurry to condemn whosoever brags in the Lord, read-in-between-the-lines. Only then will observe the (too much work) done behind the scene which the supposed "braggart" brought forth to the scene.

Staying humble and steadfast overrules pride, self righteousness and its concubines all the time.

Anchor Scripture: 2 Corinthians 4:15-16
"All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly, we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day."

Today, step aside, think of all the beautiful unmerited things He has specifically blessed you with and brag in His Holy Name for a bit! *Flips hair and walks away. lol

Have a great day guys!

It Couldn't Have Been Any Virgin!

Some religious scholars believe in the school of thought that God randomly selected a virgin and the lot fell on Mary because of her chaste life. Well, at a point in my life, I agreed with those scholars. But hey! God is in the habit of revealing his word to ordinary people like me. *Winks(Permit me to brag in the Lord. He's aware that I love him too much).

Those scholars had a point but they missed it along the way. *I bet they didn't take a critical look at this portion of the Bible:
Mathew 1 narrates that Mary was betrothed to be married to Joseph before the angel of the Lord appeared to her. Interestingly, Joseph wasn't an ordinary man either, who ran out of luck, he was from the lineage of David!

Mary wasn't made the mother of Jesus by accident. Scripture also states in Jeremiah 1:5 as thus:
"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you."

Also, Mathew 10:30 reads, "And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered."

It couldn't have been any virgin! Before God acts, He plots.

Mary and Joseph were not mere instruments used to welcome the Messiah, they were carefully handpicked and consecrated by God.

Wait Again! John Didn't Know Jesus Personally? I Taught They Were Relatives

The Angel said to Mary in Luke 1:36 "And your cousin Elizabeth conceived of a son, old as she is? Everyone called her barren, and here she is six months pregnant! Nothing, you see, is impossible with God."
The above portion categorically tells us that Mary and Elizabeth were cousins.

Fast-rewind to one of the synoptic gospel writers Mathew.

Mathew 11:2-4 "John, meanwhile, had been locked up in prison. When he got wind of what Jesus was doing, he sent his own disciples to ask, "Are you the One we've been expecting, or are we still waiting? Jesus told them, Go back and tell John what's going on."

Interestingly, it wasn't recorded that John got to set a glimpse at Jesus thereafter because he was imprisoned and eventually beheaded by Herod after Herodias' daughter's wish came to play which was masterminded by Herodias.

Now the question is why did John ask if Jesus was the Messiah? I taught he, John, personally baptized Jesus.
-Mathew 3:13-15 "Jesus then appeared, arriving at the Jordan River from Galilee. He wanted John to baptize him. John objected, 'I'm the one who needs to be baptized not you! But Jesus insisted, Do it. God's work putting things right all these centuries, is coming together right now in baptism, so John did it."

Well, Jesus knew John so well and loved him unconditionally. He acknowledged his noble work of mentoring and preparing the people for the kingdom of heaven.
Peep Mathew 11:11;
Jesus said, "No one in history surpasses John the baptizer; but in the kingdom he prepared for you, the lowliest person is ahead of him."

My Concern: *Jesus knew so much about John the baptist but John the baptist doubted if he were the messiah while at prison by instructing his disciples for re-investigation.

*How come none of John's disciples were able to recognize Jesus even as at their presence during Jesus' baptism by John the baptist. *Even if John the baptist had new set of disciples, how come the former ones weren't able to bear witness.

*John did not display an existing bond or familiarity between himself and Jesus even with the fact that their mothers Elizabeth and Mary were (intimate) cousins which automatically made Jesus and John relatives. *Remember that Mary knew where Elizabeth resided and even holidayed with her for three months when Elizabeth was six months gone in her pregnancy.

Mystery right?

Side note: This post is open to to constructive criticism and  directives.

Anchor Scripture: Mathew 11:25
"You've concealed your ways from sophisticates and know-it-alls but spelled them out clearly to ordinary people."

Have an Enriching day!

Sometimes, Leave God Alone!

Yes, leave Him alone. He can't stand your bully ass. lol

If God were human, He would have passed on long ago. *You'll agree with me that the continuous list of problem in the world no be here.

Gen Chapter 1 gives an explicit rundown of how God created the universe and specifically gave man authority over every other creature. This mantle of leadership was vested on man before the fall of Adam.

After the fall of Adam, man was responsible for his welfare. This explains that God expects us to solve some light issues all by ourselves without being overly dramatic while asking for His aid.

For example; Earthly mothers and fathers are responsible for the well-being of their child, they kick-start the nurture phase right from the time of birth of the infant till the child becomes an adult, then, they step aside and allow them fend for themselves which continues the cycle of creation. This is how God operates. He is at the center of our daily activities and well-being. And because He has given man power to dominate the earth, He expects man to act accordingly and stop being overly clingy on some issues that don't matter.

                       Lemme help you answer: No

I had an experience that seemed hilarious to me. I was involved in a bank transaction that didn't go well, the bank debited my account but failed to credit the account of the recipient, this annoyed me greatly, but then, bank had its rule of refunding before 24 hours or having the customer come to the bank to lodge a complaint in order to fix the problem. I called my best friend to share my ordeal but the response I got was epic. The response: "God will not allow you go to bank in Jesus name, you will not have to return to the bank to fix any problem." My best friend continually nagged about it like God was the cause of the failed transaction. lol. Hey! I prayed to God to intervene in my plight so that I don't have to go through the stress of visiting the bank. But most importantly, I prayed for His will to be done (His will supercedes always and all the time). If it entailed I had to go the bank to resolve the issue, then so be it. (My best friend can disturb God for Africa, you'll be ashamed on my best friend's behalf  if I spill out some hilarious things my best friend thinks God should do. *As houseboy wey God be nau. lol). Good-news: a refund was made before 24 hours.

Ask for wisdom and grace from the Most High to handle minor issues. Sometimes, leave God alone to rest "abeg," don't nag at Him! He chooses to do and undo. He wants the best for us and knows the best for us, for he is not a Blind God, neither is He a Dumb God.

Today, Allow God rest "jawi." Praise Him for his faithfulness, stay chaste and watch Him bless you with the perfect gifts. Don't be a problematic child, just like our earthly parents, "God self dey dodge wahala children too." lol

Have a Glam day.

You Are A Robber

A robber isn't only the individual who steals from others forcefully without remorse, but one who
doesn't acknowledge the giver of the beautiful gift he flaunts.

So to say, robbers are proud people and proud people are robbers.

Proud people are thieves, humble people are the "have it all." Humility entails meekness. If at any point in your life, you talk less of yourself to seek future praise, you are not humble.

Are you an excellent orator? A sensational singer? A terrific writer? A seasoned nurse? A gifted drummer? A detailed entrepreneur? An outstanding student? A master-piece architect? A genius? An enviable medical personnel? A passionate sailor? A captivating teacher? An undaunted ambassador of the Most High God who is most sorted for allover the world? And you have failed to acknowledge the giver (God), then you are a robber.

God doesn't call the qualified, He calls the called. God announces whosoever He calls. You can be called by God yet switch to the other side of becoming a robber. Never let pride consume you. King Solomon is a typical example of a great man who started so well by asking God for his gifting, became one of the blessed persons in the universe but ended badly as a result of robbery (pride).

Accept your status with grace, acknowledge the giver and return all the praises to Him when being showered with tons of praises for a work well-done.

Anchor Scripture: Proverbs 3:6
"In your ways, acknowledge Him and He'll make your path straight.

Are you a robber? Think again, re-evaluate yourself once more and effect every change.

Have a great day!
