You Can't Be Friends With Everybody!

Becoming friends with everybody will lead you to doom. As a matter of fact, the Holy Scripture warns about its dangers.

Be good all want, faultfinders (under the umbrella of friends or fans) will never fail to disappoint. They are readily prepared, scouting for the next victim to take down. Be warned!

Too many friends are tons of distraction. No one ever made it to the top with too many friends. The path to success is very lonely. Growth is silent too.

Paul in his 1st letter to Corinthians, warns about the dangers of feeling at home with the sexually promiscuous, ill-tempered, fraudsters etc, and getting along with them.
To live aright with God, there are some friends you can't tag along with, even though it is advised that you should try to talk friends (who indulge in negative activities) out of their shady ways into the way that brings light. Be wise in your dealings and know when to push the "STOP" button.

The quality of friends you keep, either makes you become a better version of yourself or breaks you into bits that leads to destruction.

Anchor Scripture: Proverbs 18:24
"The man with too many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother."

Be cordial with all, but be content with that friend or few friends that sticks closer than a brother and you'll be just fine.

Have a Great day and an Amazing Weekend ahead!

Discipline Towards Food!

Packaging one's self in public especially during the reception of food is scriptural. You didn't know?? lol (Well, especially during love feasts).

Anchor Scripture: 1 Corinthians 11:33-34
"So, my dear friends, when you come together to the Lord's Table, be reverent and courteous with one another. If you're so hungry, that you can't wait to be served, go home and get a sandwich. But by no means risk turning this meal into an eating and drinking binge or a family squabble. It is a spiritual meal - a love feast."

It is true that the impression others have about you doesn't justify your standard. But bear in mind also, that impressions are powerful and you should learn to send the right signal to those who are watching, not forgetting that most people are plotting over ways to bring you down to your lowest. Don't give them the opportunity.

Impressive composure while having public meals includes; good table manners, etiquette, elimination of every trait of gluttony and greed of every degree.etc

God wants you to represent your brand to the best of your ability through His directive, *no fall ein hand abeg. *winks

Dear long throats, discipline yourself towards food today and on wards. lol

Have a Fab day!

Which Location Were Adam And Eve At When the Serpent Tempted Eve?

Remember the story of how the devil was cast away from heaven right? Often a times, the name, 'devil' is usually substituted with that of the serpent.

I was going to ask how come the devil gained access into the garden of Eden which was not stated if it were in heaven or not, but then, I went back again and read through Genesis Chapter 3 allover and realized the Holy Scripture reiterated the name 'serpent' and not 'devil'.

I was also going to conclude that scripture only recorded that Adam and Ever were cast off the beautiful garden and was going to ask what happened to the serpent after it was cursed to crawl on its belly forever. I went back again and read allover again.

{Peep Genesis 3:20-23 for the detailed rundown}, God  made leather clothing for them and cast them off, now fully aware that they had gained wisdom of both good and evil.

vs 24."He threw them out of the garden and stationed angel-cherubim and a revolving sword of fire east of it, guarding the path to the tree of life.''

*Them could also mean Adam, Eve and the serpent which many always fail to add.

Well, from my findings, I discovered that three representatives exited the garden of  Eden. I figured out that their location may not have been in heaven after all.

 {Gen 2:4-9}
"This is the history of the heavens and earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. And the Lord God formed man out of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put man whom he had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree that grow that is pleasant to the sight and for good food."

*Wait oo. Were Adam and Eve created on earth or in a secret location close to heaven? Was it in the initial plans of God to eventually cast them off to till the ground of the earth? hmm. It gets complicated.

Did you see what I just saw? lol. Indepth study of the Bible is ultimatum. You should try it out too.

Now I'm dumbfounded...

Joy Unspeakable...

December 15th & 16th 2015, are dates that never completely erases from my memory no matter how hard I try. They were days I realized that I hadn't learnt to put Jesus first in my dealings.

By 17th December 2015, I painstakingly used the whole day aligning my ways and retracing my steps. Since then on wards, I've built my wall so high around Jesus. Nothing shakes, intimidates, disturbs, or tries to trap me in unhappiness. *I firmly believe every event that occurs under the surface of the earth are orchestrated by God Himself to lead one into the next phase, and it always works for an individual's good.

I eventually figured out that happiness was just a state of mind and that the mind can be trained to work in accordance. It takes only the mind to be convinced.
When the mind has been truly trained to be convinced, 'Nwanne, fogerrit!*lol... and leave it for God', you can overcome any obstacle.

Look up to the hills. Now, look even farther, that is the only place help and strength transcends. It includes God, His headquarter, and uncountable branches filled with His very loyal subjects. It's His permanent location so to say.

He always has, and always will be, The Unrivaled Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Heart Cobbler, Joy Giver, Sole Provider and the very Impartial Just Keeper.

Only God understands every language of the heart and diversified pitch tones of voices. When one is mad at Him and vents over an unjust cause, He tolerates, when He's been confronted in a subtle tone, he tolerates as well. When one sins consciously and unconsciously, and ask for forgiveness,  He is always merciful and just to forgive and is filled with hearty cheers to welcome one into His warm embrace, because, the kind of love He expresses is unconditional.

Everything that has life passes away and is termed vanity, but His steadfast love never rots nor soars.

Enter that personal relationship with Him, align in His ways and watch Him fill your life with happiness, peace, love and joy unspeakable.

Anchor Scripture: Psalm 37:3
"Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture."

Have a Rewarding week guys!

Penetration With Ease

A maiden virgin on her wedding night would attest to the fact that penetration with ease is not obtainable, but with time and continuous trials, penetration becomes easy. Identical application is evidenced in real life situations.

Penetration with ease may seem like an impossible venture at first, second or multiple trials, but overtime, the path gives way and becomes accessible to gain entry into.

As God's children whose governmental system is that of the 'Heavenly Economic System', penetration with ease in different works of life are among the many rights we are entitled to as citizens.

Philippians 2:13 (MSG Translation)
"Better yet, redouble your efforts. Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God's energy, an energy deep within you, God Himself willing and working at what will give Him, the most pleasure.

Obey His stipulated rules, Partner with Him and Penetrate with ease.

The Ultimate Well Done

Well-done is a congratulatory message or note for a job painstakingly accomplished.

The ultimate well done is received when we subscribe to becoming God's fool. Wisdom to accomplish tasks doesn't come by mere being up-to-date with the times.

This may break your heart... Do you know that destiny helpers ain't the real deal?

Just like Paul rightly explained in his letter to the Corinthians, stating, "I planted, Apollos watered but only God causes growth." Destiny helpers are mere (planting and watering) devices/servants from God whose job description doesn't include giving growth.

Anchor Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:21
"Everything is already yours as a gift."

As you thrive to becoming God's fool, bear in mind that everything in the world is yours as a gift, excluding nothing!

Be God's fool today and receive that direct Ultimate-Well-Done note from Him who is the unrivaled Author and Finisher of our faith and the only One who gives an empowered life.

Jars Of Savings

Saving doesn't yield wealth but saving retains wealth.

"Savings" come to the rescue during stormy days. It assists in getting project(s) done, it helps to  boost one's immune system, need there be any case of distasteful happenstance or circumstance.

Poor savings is as a result of poor planning. You should never squander every fund you come in contact with. Keep a portion in the treasure!

People who save are more strategic, are good planners and never get stranded. Inculcate the rewarding habit of saving.

Saving cuts across finance. It includes; effective time management, thorough documentation and attainment of goals (short term and long term goals), and strategic planning in every sphere of life.

It's easy: Fail to Plan, Plan to Fail.

Trust God for the innovative ideas and contacts to amass wealth, work hard, and remember to save for you and the coming generation.

Anchor Scripture:Mathew 25:3-4
"The five foolish virgins took their lamp but did not take any oil with them. The five wise virgins, however took oil in jars along with their lamps."

Notice the plural in 'Jars' right?

Let no one deceive you with the epigram, "spend it all and hope for another." As a matter of fact, everyone is expected to have JARS of Savings.

Today, unsubscribe from the act foolishness and subscribe wholly to Wisdom, for wisdom directs one through rightful living and teaches one to profit in every ramification.

Have You Read The Book Of Romans???

The Books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes used to be my favourite books of the Holy Scripture cos they taught me advance-common-sense, until I stormed St. Paul's letter to the Romans.

Everything you need to know about various spheres of livelihood and the perfect way to go about it; rightly, healthily, richly and fulfilling were painstakingly documented by the lawyer, Apostle Paul. Let no naysayer, false prophet or sweet-tongued babble, fool you or preach to you in ways that only suit their perception, stance about life or justify their negative or excessive action.

You want to get the detailed gist or an in-depth descriptive note on Offering, Law/Justice, Celibacy, Envy, Greed, Circumcision, Stewardship, Consistency, Motivation, Innovative -invention, Alms-giving, Blessing, Friendship, Norms, Equality, Functionalism, Common-sense-theory, Citizenship, Offerings, Adultery, Fornication, Murder, Laziness/Excessive slumber, Gossips, Good/Healthy relationships, Freedom to follow the right conviction of the conscience, Keeping the Holy day, Thanksgiving, Life, Death, Criticism/Condemnation, Ways to handle B.B /Zero Tolerance to B.B(killjoys a.k.a badbelle), Dangers of confusing others, Fault-finding, Cultivating a healthy relationship with God but not imposing it on others or trying to justify their plea, Coherence of belief and behaviour, Message on those in faith stretching out a hand to help those who falter, Maturity, Obedience to instruction, Prophesy to one's self and to nations, Missionary Journeying, Vacation, Visitation, Benefits of praying for self and others, watching out for trouble makers and much more?
It's carefully outlined and explained on a platter.

Why should you read the Book of Romans? It will surge up your level of  knowledge, understanding and general studies to another level. I recommend you do that ASAP and thank me later. *winks.

Copy and Paste

The computer definition of copy and paste means to make a copy of a file, folder or selected text in another location. Other times, it could mean the practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own.

The divine Copy and Paste technique is way different from the computer definition or plagiarism, in that, one can copy God's orchestrated revelation conceived in one's heart and mind and paste it in the heart of other people and these unique group of people will perceive and accept it as authentic.

More so, on the part of the people, it could mean subscribing wholly to the principles of success stories told by great men, women, professionals, mentors, saints etc, and applying it as a way of life to produce identical result just like the function of a model, recipe, or theory.

What a person emulates (copy), has a lot to do with one's  destiny alteration when effectively applied (paste). They include either positive or negative actions.

Anchor Scripture: James 1:25
"But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it-not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it-they'll be blessed in what they do."

Today, 'Copy and Paste' the positive and watch your life glitter in the sight of all who come in contact.

Circumcise 'It!'

Circumcision is the surgical removal of the foreskin. The process is usually very painful.

The history of circumcision can be traced down to the time of Abraham, which served as a mark of evidence supremely based on the covenant between himself and God.

Overtime, it became a mere religious ritual among the Jews, and they forgot what mattered the most.

Apostle Paul found their new way of life distasteful and emphatically preached to them, warning about the dangers of adhering strictly to the outward circumcision and ignoring the one that mattered most which was the inward circumcision. He further explained to them in the book of Romans Chapter 2 on the benefits of keeping God's words uncircumcised than breaking His laws circumcised.

It'll interest you to know that Barrister Paul was knowledgeable enough to figure out that all the promises made to Abraham were before the circumcision process.

Biblically, Apostle Paul enlightens us that actual circumcision means detaching one's self  negative.

What do you need to circumcise? What would serve as your own quota of your covenant?

In a bad relationship either with friend or lover? Circumcise it!
Involved with every shade of immorality? Circumcise it!
Addicted to porn, unlawful sex, excessive drinking and smoking? Circumcise it!
Perpetually involved with laziness and idleness? Circumcise it!
Indecisive to a fault? Circumcise  it!
A kill-joy or a naysayer? Circumcise it!
Addicted to social media which has become the order of the day? Circumcise it!

Be like Abraham and Sarah. Don't focus on your impotency or infertility (shortcoming), rather, circumcise it (vice). Not forgetting that every circumcision process must hurt but the benefits obtained after the healing process is ultimatum.

Partake in the Abrahamic covenant of "possessing the Earth" by keying into a Faith Promise (Covenant) today.

Have a Great day!

Until It's Bigger Than You

"Call yourself Blessed when that scary long-term-goal that seemed impossible has been surpassed and more exploits are being put in line." E.Hillz

If it's not bigger than you, then its not God-like.

God-like goals can be accomplished if only we eliminate the negative and subscribe wholly to Trust.

Do you trust the Big Man upstairs? To what extent do you trust Him?

Good-news! if He can do it for Abraham, He can do it for you.

Abraham is a significant character because he transcended from being childless to becoming a father of many children/descendants, he amounted from nothing to something, surged up from zero to Hero.

Interestingly, his progeny is sustained till date, reason why we partake in the Abrahamic covenant which entails that we 'possess the Earth'.

This didn't come on a platter. Abraham got involved in the process, faced series of trials and emerged victorious after which. Are you still sitting pretty instead of getting involved in the process? It's time to work it out.

Involve yourself in that which is bigger than you because there's a Supreme Heavenly Father who is so Big that even the word Big, isn't Big enough to describe how Big He is.
Don't worry, He's got you!

Anchor Scripture: Romans 4:4-5
"If you're a hard worker and do a good job, you deserve your pay; we don't call your wages a gift. But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it's something only God can do, and you trust him to do it - you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked - well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift."

Trust in Him, for He is able to surpass our expectations.

#Have a Great day and a Fab Celebration. It's Sallah day! Let's be nice enough to wish our Muslim Brothers and Sisters a fruitful feast day and get involved with the reason for the season too. *Smiles.

Don't be deceived. You need funds to get a technical task accomplished. Whoever told you otherwise, lied. Prayer without activating "the work/p.u.s.h harder button" to obtain funds is only a waste time. As a matter of fact, working for a cause is prayer too.
Paraphrased version of Psalm 128:2~"By the works of your hands, you shall eat."

Interestingly, activating funds are tied to the labour of our hands and mouth. The Lord God gave you a mouth to be used. Proverbs 18:21 "Words kill, words give life; they are either poison or fruit- you choose."
You want life and every good thing life has to offer? Use your mouth! Decree a thing and it shall be established-{Job 22:28}

The internet we enjoy today was as a result of the innovative idea and brainstorming by the "Advanced Research Project Administration (ARPANET). The grandiose project was funded by the US Department of Defense(DOD) in 1969.

ARPANET as a body started small but overtime grew and began to spread its tentacles by 1980.

Other wealthy investors capable of FUNDING the cause bought ARPANET over and today the use of internet is commercialized.

The human race need funds for acceptance, maintenance and sustenance.

As a matter of fact, funds are accessible to only people (mature in mind) with the bio-metrics to access its secret password.

As children of the Most High, the secrets to funds are served on a platter and it takes maturity to unravel the secrets. After which, the principles must be put to effective use and splashed with shots of "Grace."

Therefore, (Unraveled secret + Principle application + Grace )= Fund

Without proper understanding and application of the above equation, funds remain dormant.

Today, painstakingly study the process, remain positive and watch everything work together for your good.

Have a Great day and a warm weekend ahead... Yay! TGIF!

It's Okay To Split For A Cause

It's okay to split for a cause, God will still find both parties valid.

Dear Catholics and Protestants, you're doing just fine. Hate, criticism or rash judgement will lead nowhere.

There were two great men and disciples of Jesus who nagged at each other over a third party and split in the process. These two leading men were Paul and Barnabas.

Paul and Barnabas were the perfect definition of friends that loved more than brothers. The 'perfect duo' shared identical vision of making the Gospel known home and abroad and in turn, winning souls over to God. They went about doing good until an unexpected fuss surged up.

The fuss emerged as a result of John-Mark's initial attitude during their first Missionary journey where he tagged along with Paul and Barnabas but changed his mind by returning to Jerusalem after they had reached their designated country of assignment.

During Paul and Barnabas' second Missionary journey, Barnabas insisted that they tag along with John-Mark but Paul had zero tolerance to indiscipline and wouldn't agree. This made them part ways to continue their work for Christ.

There was no space in Paul's heart for second chance but on the other hand, Barnabas saw great potentials in John-Mark and failed to give up on him.

It gets interesting....

Decades later, John-Mark matures and gets endorsed by Paul who once rejected him. {See 2 Timothy 4:1} "Paul instructed, "Bring Mark with you, he'll be my right-hand man since I'm sending Tychicus to Ephesus."

Dear Catholics and Protestants, Paul and Barnabas are yardsticks for evaluation.

In our present society, Paul represents the Catholic church and Barnabas represents the Protestant church who criticize for a cause probably because they see potentials in what the former failed to see at first instance. It's okay to part ways and preach the Gospel of Christ to the nations. As a matter of fact, It's the heart and motive God is after not the religion.

Interestingly, Paul, Barnabas and John-Mark eventually lay their grudge to rest and lived peacefully proclaiming the good-news to the people which was their mission ab initio.

Anchor Scriptures:
 {James 1:26-27}
"Anyone who sets himself up as "religious" by talking a good game is self-deceived. The kind of religion is hot air and only hot air. Real religion, the kind that passes muster before God the father, is this: Reach out to the homeless and loveless in their plight, and guard against corruption from the godless world."

{1 Corinthians 14:33}
"When we worship the right way, God doesn't stir us up into confusion; he brings us into harmony. This goes for all the churches - no exceptions.

Today, lets go about doing good!

Have a Great day.

Publicizing Controversial (John) Mark!

*I've been writing under the influence of the Holy Spirit, reason for the post delays. I needed to critically research the respective characters. Excited to note that Controversial (John)Mark is the last man in the 'temperament drill' and you'll love him.

Characteristics of a Melancholy (weaknesses and strengths in no particular order);
Gifted, Aesthetic, Moody, Self-centered, Persecution-prone, Self-disciplined, Analytical, Touchy, Theoretical, Unsociable, Negative, Industrious, Critical, Industrious.

(John) Mark is a Controversial act because he is the alleged biological son of Mary and Joseph and in turn, half-brother of Jesus.

Mark and his brother James opposed the fact that Jesus was the Messiah (A Suffering Messiah is not taken seriously in a family though). *lol

(John) Mark and Jame's unbelief lingered till the death of Jesus. This unbelief was automatically swapped to an unwavering belief after Jesus began to appear to his alleged half-brother (John Mark) to reveal his glory. Only then was a paradigm shift evidenced.

Background check of (John)Mark
John mark was first introduced in the book of Acts when Peter Miraculously escapes prison{Peep Acts 12:12}. It was recorded that he housed Peter.

(John)Mark was a significant figure in the life of Paul and Barnabas. He was their secret helper.

During the first Missionary Journey of Paul and Barnabas, they tagged along with him, but he vanishes and heads back to Jerusalem.

While embarking on their second Missionary journey, Barnabas suggests that they tag along with (John) Mark again, but Paul (the no no-nonsense guy) out-rightly refuses. The ordeal led to a fuss between Paul and Barnabas which made them part ways.

Decades later, (John) Mark matures and is endorsed by Paul who once made away with him. {Peep 2 Timothy 4:11} .

According to tradition, Mark penned down the account between Peter and Jesus because he was an eyewitness of the duo. He is the brain behind the gospel of Mark.

John Mark was a typical Melancholy.

As a Melancholy;
*(John) Mark was negative and overly critical
During the time of Jesus, Mark and his brother James continually doubted that Jesus was the Messiah. A paradigm shift/change of story is evidenced after the death of Jesus.

*(John) Mark was Analytical
He belonged to the "doubting Thomas" department.
Well, being analytical isn't a bad trait but taking it to the extreme invokes restlessness. His 'analysis paralysis' pays off for him on the run long after a divine orchestrated manifestation.

*(John) Mark was Self-sacrificing
He was a trusted friend, reason why Peter showed up at his place after his miraculous escape from prison. Also, he was a helper to Paul and Barnabas. They to embarked on their first Missionary journey with him.

*(John) Mark was Gifted
His gifting took time to manifest because he was initially an Anti-Messiah. He eventually breaks out of his ignorant state and is the brain behind the Gospel of Mark. Many thanks to Jesus for revealing himself to him after His death. (John)Mark would probably have died with his gift of writing. Jesus obviously saw his inner-potentials and wanted him to use his God-given talent effectively.

*(John) Mark was Industrious
Barnabas (Son of consolation) saw the potentials Paul was blind to noticing due to his initial misbehaviour and stood by him instead. This eventually pays off because decades later, Paul endorses him for his good works.

*(John) Mark was Unsociable
This triggered the "deja vu stunt" that made him journey all the way to Jerusalem. He wasn't bold enough to face the task ahead of having to preach to a great multitude of people.
Barnabas was a significant figure in his life because it was only through him that the "shackles of withdrawal" was broken.

In summary, (John)Mark's (temperament) weakness made him unsociable, overly critical, persecution-prone and negative which was evidenced in the time of Jesus and in the time of Paul and Barnabas respectively. His weaknesses were turned over to good use for the glory of God.

Dear melancholy, (John)Mark is one mentor to look up to while thriving to become a better version of yourself,

#This post was painstakingly crafted for you, trust you were enlightened. *tongue out. There's room for  constructive criticism on the controversial character though.

Yeah!!...And it's a wrap for the "Seasonal Post." Anticipate tomorrow's dose.

Have a Good day!

Amplifying Contagious John!

This Sketch of John the Apostle looks like a jealous lover right? lmao

Qualities of a phlegmatic; Humble personality, relaxed, well-balanced consistent in life, possess 'hideous emotions', confident, competent, mediates problem, easy to get along with, have many friends, have compassion, good listener, do not like to offend good listeners, possess a biting sense of humour.

As a phlegmatic,
*John possessed 'top-notch' level of humility

This could be evidenced through his writing. He intentionally didn't want the limelight aimed at his direction, so he subscribed entirely to report writing technique. e.g John 21:20 "Turning his head, Peter noticed the disciple Jesus loved following right behind him."

Also, he was from a wealthy family. His family business at the time was fishing which was a popular means of livelihood at the time. The distinguishing feature of their wealth can be evidenced in Mark 1:19-20 "They were in the boat, mending their fish nets. Right off, he made the same offer. Immediately, they left their father Zebedee, the boat, and the hired hands, and followed him." They were rich enough to hire extra hands to help mend their fishing net. *Only the wealthy could that luxury at the time.

However, that didn't stop himself and his brother, James, from honouring the request of Jesus to become His disciples. The was expressed by their apt response for service. To also support this stance, his mum Salome, bought spices for Jesus' burial {Mark 16:1}.

*John was a trusted friend

His level of sincerity and pure-heartedness caused Jesus to love him even more. He was prominent in the life of Jesus. He was Jesus' confidant. John 21:20 categorically states how Peter noticed John following Jesus behind.
{John 13:25} "Peter motioned to him to ask who Jesus might be talking about. So being the closest, he asked, 'Master who?' Jesus said, 'the one to whom I give this crust of bread after I've dipped it." Jesus loved John unconditionally, no one could obviously contest the slot.
[Notice how 'Sparky (Sanguine) Peter' motioned  at John to source for amebo. lol. Peter was a genius abeg!]

*John was well learned

Even though he did not obtain any rabbinical training, he took it upon himself to study the scriptures. His apt writing skill was different from the rest because he expressed his thoughts in a deep experimental way. John 1:1-2~ "The word was first, the word present to God, God present to the word. The word was God, in readiness for God from day one." Only a genius can pull that solidified scriptural stunt right?

*John's hideous emotions couldn't go unnoticed by all

He loved Jesus dearly but tried not rob it on the faces of others even though they were fully aware of his 'gum body' nature.

*John was a zealous and jealous lover of Jesus all in one

The other disciples lost their cool at John and his brother James when they tried to ask if they were eventually going to sit at the right and left hand of God respectively in eternal glory. Jesus succeed in settling the surging dispute between John and the other disciples.{Peep Mark 16: 35-41 for the run down}. Notwithstanding, he stood by Jesus before death, at death and after death.

*John gave credit accordingly as at when due

Dating back to the time before his selection as 'disciple of Jesus,' He was recommended to Jesus by John the Baptist. John the baptist was his mentor and companion before the fame that tagged along with being a disciple of Jesus.
Notably, he followed the steps of his mentor and gave credit accordingly to whom credit was due: just like he did in the case of Paul. He endorsed Paul by acknowledging God's grace upon him.

*John moved in the company of elites

Like the saying, 'show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are', John moved in the company of scholars and elites, and the greatest which was Jesus, even though he (John) was 5 years younger than Jesus having started his missionary work at age 25. This caused him to be grounded in the teachings and posses high level of maturity in the dissemination of the gospel.  This in turn enabled him to gain powerful influence in the early church at Jerusalem.

*John was compassionate

His love for the eternal movement and humanity earned him the title "Apostle of love" He fought so hard to carry the people along and taught them to live and act in the way of love. {1John 4: 18-19} "There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because he first loved us." He was such a Lover Man!

*John was disciplined

He remained single his entire life by subscribing wholly to celibacy. This was to enable him dedicate his all to service and humanity. After the miracle where he survived the boiling oil, Emperor Domitian sentenced him to exile. While exiled on the Isle of Patmos, he wrote the book of Revelations. Being sent off as an outcast didn't seem depressing to him. The Holy Spirit guided him in the journey. When he returned, he bounced back even stronger starting some churches in Asia and growing the ministry until his death. He fought till the end.

In summary, John was an in-depth lover, a friend in need and indeed, well mannered and groomed, loved to work behind the scene, succeeded in turning souls over to God (in large numbers). More so, he had his weaknesses which includes; intolerance, jealousy and tendencies to act revengeful but with discipline, he emerged a conqueror.
~John also had a splash of Melancholy smitten all over.

Illuminating Sparky Peter!

It'll interest you to know that Peter was a typical Sanguine. He was a talker, very sociable, easily moved by the outward emotion of others, manipulative, and possessed unique qualities that made him outstanding.

As a Sanguine;
*Peter was too engrossed in the moment. He was a 'showoff'
{Mathew 14:28} "Peter, suddenly bold, said, "Master, if it's really you, call me to you on the water."
Even with the doubts racing through his mind, he tagged along. He was in the habit of creating a scene, he literally wanted to keep-up and meet full expectation. He ended up sinking, was eventually rescued by Jesus and the rest is history. *lol

*He was a Charismatic Leader
He had unique features that made him outstanding. He was fluent with words and exhibited unrivaled boldness. Reason why God looked beyond his flaws and revealed classified heavenly secret to him when Jesus threw a sensitive question to his disciples. He was handed the keys of heaven on a platter.{Peep Mathew 16:13-19}

*He was gifted with the spirit of Revelation
{Peep Mathew 16:16} Classified heavenly information was revealed to him. God in heaven chose Peter (for some reasons best known to him), Jesus concurred but was dazed with amazement. The edgy characteristics he possessed among his peers bought him an automatic change of name from Simon to Peter. Simon is a Hebrew name which means "He God has heard" while Peter is a Greek name which means "stone" or "rock."

*He was diplomatic. He had a cleverly-smart answer to ever question (even when he tried to be manipulative)
{Mathew 17: 24-24} "When they arrived at Capernaum, the tax men came to Peter and asked, 'Does your teacher pay taxes?' Peter said, 'Of course.' But as soon as they were in the house, Jesus confronted him, 'Simon what do you think?' When a king levies taxes, who pays - his children or his subject? He answered, 'His subjects'
Jesus said, then the children get off free right? But so we don't upset them needlessly, go down to the lake, cast a hook, and pull in the first fish that bites. Open its mouth and you'll find a coin. Take it and give it to the tax men. It will be enough for both of us."
Notice his apt defensive responses to the tax men and to Jesus. Well, Jesus understood his standpoint but he still taught him how to immediately settle scourge with adversaries to avoid lingering issues.

Also, in {Mathew 18:21} where he threw a question at Jesus on how many times one should forgive. Peter had his own number in his head which he was too quick to tell Jesus. He thought he knew it all and only needed Jesus as an affirmative witness. He was thrown aback when Jesus gave him an epic response of "forgiving 7 x 70 times" instead of the number '7' which he gave.

*Overconfidence and Laziness landed Peter in the ditch.
Overconfidence and laziness are the weaknesses of a Sanguine. When it is effectively worked, only then can a sanguine be able to maximize full potentials.
{Mathew 26: 33} "Peter broke in, 'Even if everyone else falls to pieces on account of you, I won't." And like we know, he ended up denying Jesus on three account.
{Mathew 26:41} narrates how Jesus found his disciples asleep when they were supposed to be praying, He  instructed only Peter to stay awake so that he doesn't wander into temptation (the temptation of having to deny him). He ignored Jesus' call on three account (that confirmed/signified the number of times he denied Jesus which may have been averted if only he didn't yield to laziness).

*Ability to switch emotions almost immediately
{Mathew 26:29}One time, he was slitting  a soldier's ear for trying to harass Jesus and the other time, he was denying Jesus Jesus. Such emotional instability he exhibited in a Sanguine.

*Always ready to put their life in line for a friend
{Mathew 26:51} Recorded that Peter cut off the ear of one of the soldiers that tried to harass Jesus. A  Sanguine makes sacrificial moves to ensure that their friend is safe and happy not weighing the cost.

*He found it difficult to forgive self when he erred
{Mathew 27:27-56} Narrates the crucifixion of Jesus. Peter was still having a hard time with the highest level of cowardice he displayed. Reason why he wasn't present at the crucifixion of Jesus.

*He made up for past losses in a great way when he came to terms forgiving self and moving on
{Acts 2:14-21} Narrates how Peter stood up for others (he was in the habit of defending the weak) and preached the gospel with utmost audacity without an ounce of fear. A repeat of the former mistake wasn't going to be entertained at any cost. He recognized that a 'second chance' don't usually come handy and thrived to give it a hundred percent in the quest for spreading the good news worldwide.
